Help & FAQ
How do people scan my code?
They open their phone camera and point it at the code. A message appears offering to save your contact. They tap it, then tap Save.
If your camera doesn't scan QR codes, use Google Lens. It's free on Android and iPhone.
How big should I print it?
Never print smaller than the size shown under the code. Bigger is easier to scan. When printing the PDF, choose “Actual size” or 100%, not “Fit to page”.
The code won't scan
- Turn your screen brightness up when showing the code on your phone.
- Hold the phone 15–25 cm away, straight in front of the code (not at an angle), and wait a second for it to focus.
- Make the note shorter so the code has fewer squares.
- Print on matte paper. Shiny paper can reflect light.
- Still no luck? Try Google Lens.
Is my information safe?
Yes. Everything happens on your phone. Your details are not sent or stored online. The code holds your details directly, not a link, so it keeps working forever and without internet.
When you pay, Paystack handles the payment and only gets your email for the receipt. Your name, phone and other details stay on your phone.
